Awana Club at Des Moines Gospel Chapel

We are excited to offer Awana at Des Moines Gospel Chapel this year.  Awana Club begins on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, and continues most Tuesdays of the school year until May.

To register for Awana at Des Moines Gospel Chapel please click here Annual registration is $20/child ($50 max/household).  The fee covers books, awards and a vest/t-shirt.

Each evening the clubbers will participate in three activities:  Large Group (Bible stories, songs and awards), Small Group (Bible memory) and Game Time (lots of fun).

There are two Awana Club age groups:  Sparks  (K-2nd grade) and Truth and Training (4th-6th grades).  Awana Club is not just Bible memorization, but it's designed as a program to help clubbers learn and live God's Word.  The focus of the Sparks handbook is Bible character biographies.  Kids this age want to know the details of the Bible, including the stories and the people.  Along with Bible memorization, Truth and Training (T&T) age clubbers are invited to dig deeper into God's Word!

Awana is a global, nonprofit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for ages 2-18 that actively involves parents and church leaders.  Each week, more than 2 million children and youth and 330,000 volunteers take part in Awana in 30,000 churches around the world.  Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.
