There is a bridal shower on Monday, September 13th at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Room for Melissa Bruce. For a group gift please see Julia Livingston or Patti Cramer.
The LBC Appreciation Dessert and farewell to the Craig family is on Saturday, September 18th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Room.
The Annual Worship Summit will be on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM in preparation for the 2010-11 year. All musically talented individuals are encouraged to attend. Lunch is provided.
The men's Broken 2 Build group is having a retreat at Lakeside Bible Camp on October 1st - 2nd. All men 18 years and older are invited to attend. The cost is $50. Plan to come and fellowship with other DMGC men.
Our High School Group is for 9th - 12th graders. We have some exciting activities planned this year - awesome talks, small groups, outreach and worship nights.
If you are between 18 - 30 years old we encourage our College and Career Group to join Singles Bible Study Fellowship for fellowship and a bible study every Monday evening at 7 pm at Boulevard Park Presbyterian Church. Coffee Hour begins on Wednesday, September 29th and meets every Wednesday, at 9:40 AM during the school year. All are welcome for great fellowship, food and teaching!
kidREACH meets every Tuesday at 5:30 PM for tutoring help for elementary aged children that attend Des Moines Elementary School. and need some extra help with school work. Dinner is served at 6:30 PM.
ACTION meets every Tuesday from 6:55 PM - 8:30 PM from September through April yearly. ACTION is for kids going into 3rd through 6th grade.
Our Breaking of Bread Service is every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. We will have a fellowship break from 10:30 - 11:00 AM, and our Family Bible Hour will begin at 11:00 AM. Children will be dismissed to Sunday School from the Main Auditorium after the announcements.
Every Thursday, during the school year, at 9:45 AM Women at the Well meets for ladies of all ages. This year we are excited to be studying the Book of James. Nursery is provided for infants to 2 years old and Children at the Well is provided for ages 3-5 years old. Come and be refreshed in God's Word and also enjoy the fellowship of other women.
